Review of Various Modern Temporal Data Models

 Temporal records are known to change with the passage of time and services to manage the multiple snapshots of these records are generally absent in conventional databases. The management of the Time-varying data is effectively performed by the temporal data models in comparison to implementing them in user applications.  The support for the temporal functionality is provided by the modern commercial databases that enable the users to manipulate the temporal data easily. The paper assesses various modern temporal data models on different vital parameters in order to have a better understanding of the time varying databases.
