Optimized Approach for Reduction of Higher Order Interval System

Ashish Mishra, Toohina Pandey, Shekhar Yadav

Abstract

Abstract This paper deals with the order reduction of higher order interval system using mixed optimization approach and routh approximation method. The paper put forward the method for the reduction of interval system. The reduction process is to examine for the possibility of finding some lower order transfer function of the same type that may be considered to adequately reflect the dominant characteristics of the original system. Generally in this article our main attention on the major part is that, in what way to get Kharitonov polynomials. The conventional strategy for deciding stability is likewise contrasted and the graphical technique for deciding the stability. The exhibited paper shows strength examination of reduced order system in understanding to the first higher order interval system. A numerical example has been given to explain the optimization technique. Simulation and performance analysis have been done in Matlab software. Simulation result has been given for comparison of higher order interval system and reduced order system.

Keywords— MOR, interval system, Kharitonov Algorithm, Stability, Routh-Approximation.
