Contrast Image Enhancement with its Techniques and Problems: A Survey

Abstract

Abstract—Image Enhancement (IE)deal with improving the image togivesadditional details. Subsequently image transparency is very simply affected by lightening, climate or tools which have been utilized to capture the image. These situationscan lead to image undergo from low contrast and information loss. The coreobjective of IE is to highlight detail which is unseen in image or to enhance contrast in a small contrast image. This paper shows a literature surveyof someIE algorithms in combination with contrast IE techniques- HE, AHE DSR, SVD. Some transforms for IE are also explained like WT, SWT, DCT and DWT. This paper concludes with comparison of many techniques thatgivesimprovedoutcomes.
