Implementation Model of Cloud Computing for Education Intuitions with Respect to Core Issues

Abstract


Abstract. History of cloud computing is rooted back in 1943 with the “Z3” the first fully automatic electromechanical computer.  EIANC the first general purpose computer was developed in 1945. Cloud computing concept started in 1950s with the evolution of mainframe computing. Cloud computing has been penetrating in various organization, but a universally acceptable model for educational institutions is not available. Literature review is carried out for study of cloud and its applications in IT revealed that there exist various issues in the implementation of cloud solutions in universities/colleges. We made a study on data collected through a questionnaire from various institutions of technical education, analyzed, interpreted and propose a suitable model to be adopted, which address the core issues refraining the use  of cloud in these intuitions.
