Role of Skill Development Training on Employability of Women

The purpose of this paper is to present the role of skill development training on employability of women. Women are the most important aspect in the way of economic growth. But, it can be seen that Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development of any country. The economy becomes more productive, innovative and competitive through the existence of more skilled human potential. Women are the most vibrant and dynamic segment as well as potentially most valuable human resources, women who are not able to come outside due to some challenges, programmes has been launched by the government in order to develop their skills and economy. Likewise, this paper also presents some objectives indicating the role of government in skill development affecting their employability of women and how much women are benefitted from the. The findings of the study showed that initiatives taken by the government, still there are some women especially women of rural areas who lacks in taking advantage of the initiatives and on the other side Women being the vital gender of the overall population have great capacity and potential to be the contributor in the overall economic development of any nation.
