Abstract

After delisting of agricultural products still, farmers sell their product through brokers at APMC while women greengrocer purchased produce through brokers and sell it to the local area in the city. It makes that brokerage has to be paid by both the person for buying and selling products so farmers sell with a brokerage to brokers at APMC and local women greengrocer purchase by paying brokerage to brokers. Here it is required to smoothen the process and remove the middlemen from the transitions between farmers and customers and also strengthen Supply-chain management. It is also required to provide maximum profit to the farmers for their produce as well as for customers who will get fresh produce at a reasonable rate. This paper focused on issues of Women Greengrocers in terms of purchasing produce at daily bases from the market. It has lots of impact on the supply chain of fresh produces. This paper is going to provide an ICT based model that helps women greengrocer and farmer to take a decision about produce and its demand with reference to supply in the market.
