INTRODUCTION OF PLC BASED CONTROLLER IN PROTECTION OF INTER-CONNECTING TRANSFORMER

The design and implementation of the PLC based controller for protecting Inter-connecting transformer are introduced. The system includes protection facilities like Buchholz relay, Oil level protection, Over load protection, E/F protection and Bus-bar Protections. It does not require any physical Timers and Counters. All these will be availed as software. In this paper, software and hardware of PLC have been explained and designed. The design implementation and testing of the system are also presented.
