Abstract

In the corporate world, a large amount of data needs to be handled and managed efficiently. Therefore, an enterprise application that would help in efficient handling of data and reduce manual work needs to be developed. Sometimes in a particular organization, it becomes necessary to take quick decisions based on data from any location. Android is widely used and is an easily available operating system in smart phones. As Android is open source, it is easy to implement the application on this platform. So, the authors have implemented a system by binding features, namely security and decision making into a single application. This paper introduces a system, which contains two modules, namely, Manager Application and Employee Book. Manager Application is an android-based mobile application developed for handling large amount of corporate data from any location. This application includes decision making for team formation and graphs for employee performance tracking. Employee Book is a desktop application for employees to manage their own personal data as well as work data.
