Abstract
Agricultural irrigation is more important in crop production everywhere in the world. For agricultural cropping systems, efficient water management plays a vital role. The minimal usage of water resources in drip irrigation has been required because of increasing in demand for water. It will be provided with greater extent by automation technology. This project deals with solar powered wireless auto valve actuation in drip irrigation system. Wireless signal transmission assures the effective signal transmission and reduces the man power interruption which can also reduce the drawbacks of diagnosis of breakage wire and more energy consumption which can be accomplished by solar power.
