Satellite Image Processing Using ERDAS Imagine

Pictures are the best method for passing on data. Words usually cannot do a picture justice. Pictures briefly pass on data about positions, sizes and interrelationships between articles. People are great at getting data from such pictures, in light of our characteristic visual and mental capacities. Around 75% of the data got by human is in pictorial structure. The paper depicts the essential innovative parts of advanced picture preparing with extraordinary reference to satellite picture handling. Essentially all satellite pictures handling data can be gathered into three classifications.
Image rectification and restoration
Image enhancement
Information extraction
The previous manages beginning handling of crude picture information to rectify for geometric bending, the improvement methodology are connected to picture information with a specific end goal to successfully show the information for consequent visual translation. The expectation of order procedure is to classify all pixels in an advanced picture into one of a few area spread classes or subjects. This characterized information might be utilized to create topical maps of the area spread present in a picture.
