ArcGIS Server is a comprehensive, cohesive geographical information system (GIS) server which aids spatial data management, plotting, and spatial investigation across distributed systems. ArcGIS Server is a Web GIS that supports you to make your geographic information available to others. ArcGIS Server authorizes to allocate GIS resources that cover an enterprise as well as across the web. In this paper, ArcGIS was used to visualize road network which is build using various network analyst tools in ArcGIS. The amalgamation of the internet and GIS technology has been constructing an amplifying area of research called Web-based GIS or ONLINE-GIS. This paper uses the ArcGIS software for road analysis of a particular area in Dehradun, Uttaranchal, India. The image used has been encapsulated from Google Earth which is called as the Earth Viewer 3D created in 2004. ArcGIS has various tools out of which Network Analyst tools has been applied in this paper.
