Abstract

The recent trend is found to be the increased use of visual media such as featured films, TV programs and home videos over the Internet. Hence, Video as a Service (VaaS) in cloud computing is gaining momentum. Success of any application in VaaS depends on storage, streaming and security. This paper presents an application based on VaaS, which allows users to upload video data on cloud, share videos with others and also watch videos shared by other people securely.

Keywords: Video as a Service (VaaS), visual media, cloud security, storage, streaming, multimedia services
