Detection of Image Tempering: An Exhaustive Survey

Deepika Tomar, Manish Dixit

Abstract

In modern technology, the manipulation of the digital image is very easy and common. An image can be tampered simply by photo editing software like Photoshop in a very advanced way. The motive of this research is to detect and confront the validness of the image, and if the image has been produced or altered at that point recognizing the altered locale of the image. Here we are utilizing different tempering image forgery techniques, which are under dynamic and uninvolved approaches. It will likewise show the outline of already existing uninvolved image forgery detection (IFD) or otherwise called blind image forgery detection. So, distinguishing of image forgery is troublesome and testing undertaking. A lot of research has been going on this area and one of the problems is the unavailability of the original image for evaluation. In this study, we studied active and passive or blind ways to deal with identify phony in the digital image.
