Abstract

With cloud computing, new facilities in the information technology (IT) emerge from the convergence of occupational and technology viewpoints which furnish users’ entrance to IT resources anywhere and anytime by pay-per-use fashion. Consequently, it should source eminent operative gain to the user and instantaneously ought to be beneficial for the cloud service provider. To attain this aim, some challenges have to be provoked, in which load balancing is among them. The best selection of resources regarding the particular job does not mean that the selected resource continues enhancing for the whole execution of the job. The supply under loading/over-loading must be avoided which could be enlarged by appropriate load balancing mechanisms. In this study, we discussed about cloud architecture and many load balancing techniques and at the end, we relate four optimization-based load balancing techniques and provide the information about innovative technique over existing ones.
