Absorbance, Structural and Morphological Analysis of AgNMs using Leaf Extract of Prosopis Cineraria
Abstract
Abstract
The silver nanomaterials (AgNMs) were synthesized by biodegradable method using the leaf extract of Prosopis cineraria. The green synthesized nanomaterials show the surface plasmonic resonance peak at 441 nm which confirms the presence of AgNMs. The phytochemicals of Prosopis cineraria leaf extract acted as a reducing agent which was corroborated by the infrared spectrum. The electron microscopic analysis substantiates that the AgNMs were spherical in shape with an average size of 26 nm. The X-ray diffraction study revealed that the AgNMs were in face centered cubic crystal system.
