Comparison Analysis of Routing Protocols with Variation in Node Density for Rayleigh Fading

Abstract

Abstract

One of the most overlooked factors in evaluating the performance of ad-hoc routing protocols is the variation in the signal strength known as fading. In wireless network, MANET suffers a huge loss in performance due to obstacle between transmission and variation in signal strength at receiver. Many routing protocols are proposed based on which neglect the effect of fading and path loss. Main objective of this paper is to find suitable routing protocols for Rayleigh fading model and analyze the performance of wireless ad hoc network in terms of throughput, average end to end delay, jitter and packet delivery ratio.
