Emergent and Self Organizing behavior in Heat Diffusion Model

Waarengeye Varun Vikram

Abstract

Abstract-Heat Diffusion equation is used to determine thechange in the function of u over time. We try to discuss different experimental parameters from an existent heat diffusion model given by Netlogo for simulation of steady-state temperature distribution of a thin plate as the model shows complex behavior when we change the temperature of the sides to different levels. In addition, we try to modify the model and discuss how emergence and self-organization exist in the modified model by carrying out experiments as we add parameters for the heat equation discussed.
