Wireless Charging of Mobile Phones Using Microwaves

Nowadays mobile phones are becoming a basic part of our life. This is one of the most important medium for the communication. The mobile phone batteries have always been problem for recharging. Mobiles have to be put to recharge after the batteries have drained out. In this paper, the main objective is to make the recharging of mobile phones anywhere without charger. This is done only when there is use of microwave; the microwave signals are transmitted from transmitter using a special kind of antennas called slotted waveguide antenna at a frequency of 2.45 GHz. We have to add a sensor and a rectenna circuit in our mobile phone to do this job successfully. This is one of the best technologies, and for this purpose, we are proposing wireless charging of mobile phones by using microwaves.
