Evolution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction industry has led to the coming up of stimulating projects with very stiff timelines, razor thin margins and facilities to relate with stake holders working in geographically dispersed locations on an online mode. This has demanded the confluence of information technology in this domain with facilities for mapping the entire industry operations which includes process mapping, project planning, progress updation, project tracking and consolidated reporting facility for inspected data extraction from a central database. Any customizable domain specific research in this technology can pave the way for full-fledged construction automation with its explicit customizable features.
