Kinect Based Physical Player Interactive Game Using Mealy Model in Unity K-Infinite Runner

Abstract
Recently, game structures are designed using NFA (Non-Deterministic Finite Automata) and DFA (Deterministic Finite Automata). NFA can reside at the same time in multiple states and hence it must be converting into DFA and then we used DFA to implement the game design. Conversion takes extra efforts and sometimes leads to ambiguous states. In our proposed modeled game, we used a Mealy machine to implement a game design which describes the flow of the game in the minimum state. The game “K-infinite runner” is structured using a Mealy machine. Game input from the physical player is control through special hardware called Kinect kit. In this, physical player’s movement is detected using Kinect and it is transferred to the PC player. Graphics of the game is designed in software called Unity. A designed game with Mealy machine responds faster as it has fewer states.
