Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has turned into an incredible in changing social, financial and political life universally. Women are regularly unsung courageous in the headway of data innovation, particularly in the under developed countries where women are significantly underrepresented in the ICT field. This paper inspects the present pattern of women and ICT utilization in India. It is noticed that lower quantities of women are getting to utilize ICT, contrasted with men. Women are likewise more unequivocally spoke to in bring down level ICT occupations than in higher status and more generously compensated zones. The different ICT openings that are of advantages to women have been inspected. ICT has possibilities to convey advancement to a country by lessening exchange mutilations, dispense with destitution, give business openings, and enhance human services conveyance and others. Strengthening techniques to advance and enhance the current circumstance, for example, making an empowering situation which bolsters and urges women more access to profit by ICT ventures, making a control and strategy which underpins women's utilization of ICT were suggested.
