Abstract
The proposed paper presents a speech hiding technique in a digital image (DI). Here the technique used is Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). It secures speech signal from unauthorized users. It can be done by embedding speech into an image by steganography. Thus, unauthorized users will not detect secret speech in stego image. Suppose unauthorized users detect the speech that will be fraud because no one can obtain speech signal without the private key signal since embedded speech is in encrypted form. Here in addition, the speech cryptosystem has also advantages for reducing time in transmission in DWT with respect to least significant bit (LSB).
