The research on new types of resistive-based memories, in particular memristive memories, will enable next-generation computing devices to have non-volatile memory that is as fast or even faster than volatile memories. This new memory can replace both RAM and secondary storage. In order to analyze how future computer architectures can benefit from such secondary-storage, a web-based application was developed to allow processes to manage volatile, non-volatile materials, and files, with a single shared memory space.
