Abstract

Abstract - Nowadays people feel more comfortable to use mobile phone for their regular day-to-day activities. Besides, it creates an easy access to achieve any goal in a tight schedule. Along that, affordable smart-phone technologies are introducing newer communication possibilities that were not imaginable a few years back. Considering the impact of this mobile technology on the users, we have designed and constructed an Android application named ‘Doctor who?’. The objective was to build an effective application for users with busy schedule to make an appointment with doctors of different specialty on different locations. On the other hand, patient always suffer to find an appropriate blood donor on time during emergencies. The application will provide user the opportunity to create a database, where profile of doctors and patients can be stored and through it patients can directly contact with the doctors. Along that, the application will provide a list of registered blood donors with contact details for all existing blood groups. The usability and effectiveness of this application have been evaluated based on six different users. The practical result shows that the updated version of this application is very promising.
