Abstract

Information technology has been existing in its current form from 1969 when the ARPA was introduced by the USA defence department as a communication network for nuclear war. IT industry has travelled a long passage to reach its current state and is now dominating every sphere of life. It has changed the approach of information compilation and dissemination. Latest developments in IT and communication techniques like mobile computing, virtual reality, internet of things, and cloud computing have been putting a major role in the development of modern society. We explored the application of cloud computing, one of the latest technologies in the educational institutions, and proposed a suitable model of cloud computing to be adopted in educational institutions.
