Study of Perl Language

Abstract

Several scripting languages have come into being nowadays, of which, some are utilized more frequently as compared to others. This is due to the divergent attributes that they possess. Programming languages have become more acceptable in computing areas like software engineering, bioinformatics and other fields. Diverse languages are assessed based on various criteria, which provide guidance to researchers in variegated spheres. This paper gives an insight into the basics of Perl language, i.e. how can a script be written in Perl, it is working with HTML and how Perl is combined with CGI. This paper gives a clear and easy picture of Perl programming language, and how it would be beneficial to use, for individual programmers. Thus, it will be valuable to all the researchers and programmers, who are willing to work on Perl.
