Abstract
High Performance Computing (HPC) is utilization of different PC assets to take care of extensive basic issues. Multiprocessor and Multicore are two wide parallel PCs which bolster parallelism. Bunched Symmetric Multiprocessors (SMP) is the most productive way out for extensive scale applications. Upgrading the execution of PC application is the fundamental part of parallel handling. Single processor execution on top of the line frameworks frequently appreciates an imperative expense advantage when actualized in parallel on frameworks using numerous, bring down cost, and product chip. Parallel PCs are going standard since groups of SMP (Symmetric Multiprocessors) hubs offer help for an abundant accumulation of parallel programming ideal models. MPI and OpenMP are the popular flavors in a parallel programming. In this paper we have taken a survey on parallel worldview's accessible in multiprocessor and multicore framework.
Keywords: Parallelism, MPI (Message Passing Interface), OpenMP, Heterogeneous (hybrid) systems, SMP (Symmetric Multiprocessor)
